“I would not be where I am without your help so thank you for everything you’ve done to help me.”

What Parents and Students Are Saying:

PAGE CURRENTLY UNDER REVISION

"I could not have survived this process without Aly. She helped me with both of my children, each with drastically different needs and circumstances. Aly is a walking encyclopedia on colleges, and if by chance there was something she doesn’t know, she quickly becomes an expert. The amount of stress she helped us alleviate in navigating the college process was immeasurable. Her network of contacts is vast and allowed my children to get in touch with students from every college they were interested in. On a personal level Aly was a pleasure to deal with – quick, witty, knowledgeable and to the point. She helped streamline everything – from the beginning college searches to the final choices and everything in between.  When you are beginning the college process, the best advice I can give is start with Aly and save yourself the stress and headaches of flying solo through the myriad of college application purgatory."

— Dawn O, Class of 2023 and 2024 Parent

"Aly is consistently cohesive and determined in her craft. When beginning the application process, the seemingly endless school options can feel especially daunting, but Aly took the time to get to know me and gave me a fantastic collection of options that I would've never been able to narrow down alone. She has an impressive and inspiring drive, especially while writing supplements and personal essays, always pushing students to write to their absolute best ability, which is oftentimes difficult to unlock. Overall, working with Aly will boost any student's chances of admission to their top choice schools."

- Lila R, Class of 2028

“I really enjoyed our conversations and really appreciated your experience, guidance and honesty. But it was all the reading and learning I did on my own, facilitated by you, that really helped me take my knowledge to the next level. As for me, I'd say that you are familiar with a wide range of college choices, from small liberal arts colleges to research universities to state schools to the California system. You really push kids to think more expansively about what kinds of schools might be a good fit. You pushed our son to study hard for the SAT, but when his scores weren't submittable, you didn't dwell on it or make him feel bad; instead, you just told him he would be test-optional, and everyone moved on. (and he got in without scores!) Also, when it came to final edits of his writing, in particular the "supplemental information" part of the Common App, your experience was tremendously helpful in helping him distill what information about his HS experience was relevant and how to present it in a way that was both succinct and elegant.  You create the ideal true partnership between child, parents, and Admissions Village, where the work of finding and applying to colleges is child-driven but collaborative.”

-Delina B, Class of 2027 Parent

"Aly, your sound and leveling advice helped to clear up any questions I had about college. You were always very honest and I sought out your thoughts for everything because of it. Kavita, I actually had no idea how to write an essay and you really helped me come up with something I was proud of. I honestly don’t think I would have gotten in without your help. I would recommend it to anyone concerned about college throughout all of high school especially with the parents. It is nice to have another “authority figure” in the college applications to get a second opinion. I can’t imagine doing the college process without you guys. Everything from your years of wisdom to your writing advice and help in every aspect-it just made everything so great and so much less stressful because I could count on and trusted you guys. Thank you both so so SO much again for all your help I couldn’t have done it without you and I’m so thankful that my mom found you-I would recommend you to absolutely everyone and just don’t have enough good things to say."

— Teo B, Class of 2027

"We met Aly just in time! The whole process of college applications daunted my daughter. Essays, deadlines, and especially deciding what schools would be best for her. Of course, she was not eager to have her mom walk her through it or question her daily. Thank goodness for Aly, she had so much insight for my daughter and was able to help her keep on schedule, narrow down her school choices with good rationale, and gain the respect and trust of my daughter! She was very effective and my daughter is thrilled with her college choice! We only wish we had met Aly earlier in the process; she could have eliminated a lot of stress!"

— Martha O, Class of 2024 Parent

“We hesitated about cost and value, as in whether the consulting was worth it and helpful. Also, as parents, we were a tad nervous about relinquishing oversight, but turned out to be liberating, and conducive to a more peaceful relationship between parent and child.  The best part about working with AV was the experience and knowledge you all had about college essays and applications in general. It made our family feel more confident and calm over the whole process with firm goal setting and scheduling. We felt like we were in good hands. Also, the essay coaching, including overall meaning and direction, and all the detail work, such as language and tone, was invaluable. She especially appreciated the long exercises in finding her voice and what really mattered to her. The coaching is top notch, but AV is also nurturing, supportive and student-centered. I also did appreciate the occasional update about the Admissions landscape and direction. I can tell you’re all so passionate about helping kids find their way, and you make sure to educate yourselves on the latest trends in the field.”

- Waimun T, Class of 2027 Parent

“Our daughter is finishing her freshman year at a top ten university and is happier than we have ever seen her.  Aly took to time to understand our daughter and recommended a school that we had not even considered.   We fell in love with the school after one visit.  Thanks to Aly, this was the school she ultimately decided on. While she had the right credentials to get into many top schools, it was Aly that helped her sort through the opportunities and find the perfect match.”

— Ken C, Class of 2023 and 2024 Parent

"Elisabeth was exactly who I needed to guide me through the graduate school essay and application process. In each meeting, Elisabeth approached our work with a deep sense of commitment and thought. She demonstrated a drive for excellence in every stage, and her prior work in college admissions strengthened the guidance she could offer. I am also a nurse with a busy, varying schedule - Elisabeth was accommodating and patient, while also ensuring everything was done in the most timely manner. She even went above and beyond to keep track of things like information sessions with my top school, continuing to provide me with guidance on how to approach the process. An application like this, while typically overwhelming, was made so much easier because of her. Most importantly, I felt Elisabeth's commitment to me as a person and exemplifying who I am to the admission committee. I quickly knew I could trust her deeply with this process, and it was evident she truly cared about my success. Elisabeth tailored this experience to me - making it personal and exactly what I needed. In the end, I got accepted to my top school with a scholarship offer. I feel so much gratitude to Elisabeth for helping to exemplify who I am and what my professional goals are in the best light. I would recommend her time and time again. Elisabeth - thank you for everything you have done to help me succeed!!"

- Gianna B, Graduate Class of 2029

“I am a crazy researcher (which you know now!) so I wasn't sure I 'needed' someone to help and was concerned with the costs I was hearing thrown around. I thought you guys were very reasonably priced for your services. I appreciated the honesty and passion you have for your kids. I thought your personality and my daughters fit really well! We have a sense of humor and it turned out to be NECESSARY while going through this insane process. I also really appreciated that when we had a meltdown and needed a break, you gave us space but didn't run away. You kept sending your emails and reached out and were there for us when we came back for help. That was beyond wonderful and essential to getting us over the finish line and our daughter into her top choice! Oh, and also, I had never really thought about UVA, and didn't know about their ED option, so Thank you and Thank you! You were always open to feedback and were always there for us no matter what! THANK YOU! We are both grateful!”

-Rachel M, Class of 2027 Parent

"I owe an incredible amount to Aly, as I wouldn’t even be at Duke if she hadn’t told me to apply there! She was beyond helpful, she was essential in my college process and decision making. Any question I had she could answer and any concern I had she knew how to handle. She is kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her, thank you Aly!!"

—Jade O, Class of 2023

"At first, I was a little hesitant, as I was worried that someone with an outside perspective may not know what is best for me in terms of where I should go for college. However, those hesitations were put to rest quickly after I got to know Aly and started working with her. The best part about working with Admissions Village was getting the assistance of people with such great experience and knowledge of the college admissions process. Their deep insight into schools throughout the country helped me narrow down the perfect colleges for me, and they were invaluable in helping me mold the rough drafts of my application essays into the well-refined versions that ultimately helped me get accepted to my dream school. I would absolutely recommend Admissions Village to anyone seeking assistance with their college search. When I first met them, I was planning on just settling for one of my state’s public universities, but with their help, I was able to find the school of my dreams and get accepted there. Without them, my life would be on a completely different trajectory. I cannot think of a single complaint throughout my time with Admissions Village, they did an excellent job with their consulting work. Aly and Kavita were both incredibly kind and caring throughout our conversations over video, and they worked incredibly hard to help me find the perfect school. I couldn’t have gotten to where I am today without their incredibly thoughtful and talented help. Thank you for all of your hard work and help throughout my college search. I can’t wait for my first day of college, it’s hard to believe move in day is a little over 6 months away. I will make sure to keep in touch and let you know how I am liking it once I start my first year!"

-Xander S, Class of 2027

I found your services extremely helpful. I had no perspective on what different colleges and universities are like, but you were very knowledgeable about different schools. I wouldn’t have even known where to begin to start looking. You were also very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I would say the most important thing to know is that you don’t write the essay for us. This was something I was a little worried about since my friend also has an IEC, and his pretty much wrote his entire essay. I didn’t think that was fair to him, the colleges he applied for, or other students.

- Finn S, Class of 2026

“I am a big fan of supporting other women-owned businesses, and this one deserves high praise! Special shoutout to the incredible Aly Billet Beaumont, Kavita Iyer, and the entire crew at Admissions Village, who were instrumental in the stressful college process from start to finish. They helped Amanda find the right mix of schools, those that she would love and where she would thrive and excel. Most importantly, Aly suggested two schools for Amanda that she initially had yet to consider, which ended up being her top two choices on the final list. That is a true advisor. One that "gets" your child, and they are far more than just a number or name on a list of students. She cares. From the first call and Aly's famous intake questions to months later, the final call congratulating Amanda on her direct admission to Kelley School of Business (her first choice), every moment was best-in-class service. I truly believe that Amanda's success due in huge part to Aly and her team. Amanda was accepted into 75% of the Business Schools she applied to, and Aly's depth of knowledge, dedication, listening, and attention to detail made all the difference. If you are going through the college process in the coming years, I highly recommend reaching out to Aly Billet Beaumont for college advice. She can help you with all your questions and be your guide. Without a doubt, I will use her services for grad school one day. She is a 5-star resource. .”

-Katherine T, Class of 2027 Parent

Kavita, I am thrilled that you are my daughter’s teacher. We only hoped that she would find someone who can help her articulate the values that are important to her. Yet at 17 years old it seems for some a taunting task. Having a gifted teacher is not easy to find, having someone who cares was so important. Thank you for being both.

- Grace C, Class of 2026 Parent

“Thank you to you and Kavita for all you have done to help him and prepare him and keep him on task.   He’s really in the end so surprised me and impressed me. So proud of my little boy.   Thank you both for your involvement and keeping him on task.   As much as he is a good kid and solid, it was So good for him to know that he had you guys rooting for him and helping him out and giving him some realistic some stuff to think about.   Thank you, thank you!”

- Seema S, Class of 2027 Parent

You have a very good knowledge of a broad number of colleges, with on ground experience and up to date, and your team approach allows for flexibility on response, views and different level of advice according to the kid profile and target schools. You are very realistic about the achievable goals (you could even be a bit more risk takers even if probabilities are not high for a target school).

I would also like to say that you have a very transparent and reasonable price on the advice given.

-Leo B, Class of 2028 Parent

We first learned about Aly when we saw one of her postings on Facebook.  We had met with one other IEC prior to Aly,  but did not continue, primarily due to cost.  Aly is very tuned into what is going on with the admissions "scene".  I also liked that she spent a lot of time interviewing our son and getting a sense of who he was and which colleges would be right for him.  Without this, he might have applied to small, liberal arts colleges that would not have been right for him.  Also, I felt like I could reach out with questions or thoughts any time, day or night, and Aly would respond right away - it was like working with a friend.  My son has said that he liked his conversations with Aly because they were informal.  He didn't feel like Aly was pushing him, but that they were working together with the same goals.  He had heard about other counselors who just push their own ideas onto students and he didn't feel that way working with Aly.  We would absolutely recommend Aly.  We started with a request for help with the college list, during the summer before senior year.  We thought that would be all we needed.  However, her insights into the strategic aspects of the process made us realize that we wanted her advice on essay topic selection, describing the activities section of the common app, reaching out to admissions officers, and more.  Aly ended up guiding us until the end!  I would recommend Aly to anyone who is looking for help with list development and strategic insights during the process.  Our son sees  Aly as extremely committed - sometimes even more so than himself!  In his own words, "It was great to feel that there was someone totally on my side and enthusiastically supportive.  She was always thinking about the process, which was awesome."   I agree - we really felt that we were supported at every step in the process - Aly was in our corner the entire time.  This was so important, especially during a process that can be very overwhelming and stressful.  As aptly summarized by our son, " I thought that the process was exactly what I needed - not too overbearing, keeping me on the right track.  I didn't want or need a day-to-day, step-by-step check in, but more of a strategic guide, which was what Aly provided."

— Robin A, Class of 2025 parent and Connor A Class of 2025

“I really liked how knowledgeable Aly was about all colleges. After mentioning Tulane, she was able to give me details about the location, school, and her perspective on the school for me. Kavita's commitment to helping me as a student was unmatched. She worked after our meetings if she wasn't satisfied with our product and would really push me to find the answers to the questions. I would recommend Admissions Village to anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable team who will help you get into the colleges you want. I was very happy with the outcome of my college admissions cycle. During a year of very difficult decisions for many, I feel that I ended up with good choices and I was very happy with selecting IU as my college for the next 4 years. I was very happy with the push and determination that both Aly and Kavita gave me and it really took my mediocre applications and pushed them over the line.”

-Akash G, Class of 2027

I heard about Admissions Village on Facebook, and felt connected to Aly through her posts and experience in the horse world.  Few understand the intricacies of what it takes to be a rider, and how that can uniquely help as well as hinder the college application process.  Aly truly gets it. We explored working with another IEC consultant prior to finding Aly, and knew we had a great fit with Aly's personalized approach, knowledge, willingness to find answers, desire to know her clients, and how much she really cares for her students and their families.  Her heart for what she does is really big, and it shows.  I would absolutely recommend Aly without hesitation to anyone looking for college guidance, and riders in particular.  She also navigated a divorced situation, making sure to hear both sides and acknowledge parent desires and approaches.  If anything I wish we had started the process with Aly earlier.  She is such  a huge advocate for the student, and spends a lot of time getting to know them.  Aly always said yes, always found time and always had a shoulder.  Aly's compassion, integrity and true concern for her students and their families is something that we will never forget.  Aly knows how to connect with her students to get the best from them.  This is their time to show who they are, and Aly has the magic to help them bring it forth.

— Pam B, Class of 2025 Parent

“Thank YOU Aly!! Your guidance and support surpassed all expectations!!  We went to accepted student day at Loyola Saturday.  It had THAT feel.   Amazing!”

- Class of 2027 Family

"Aly was amazing!  She helped us through a complicated application process and was a pleasure to work with!  All the hard work paid off and it was 100% worth it!  I will have her help us with my younger daughter when the time comes."

— Stephanie O, Class of 2025 Parent

“We loved how strong the rapport was between our child and Aly.  Our son was very comfortable asking her questions, and he completely trusted Aly’s judgment in terms of essays and other college application decisions.  Aly always replied quickly, so he knew he would not get stuck waiting while he worked.  He also enjoyed working with Kavita and Meg, although he did not get to know them as well. We have recommended Aly to several families.  We like the honesty and integrity of Admission Village, and we really appreciate how it took a lot of stress out of the process. We were very pleased with Admissions Village.  We initially thought we just needed essay support to keep things on track, but we ended up getting a lot more – school list selection, strategy, calming advice, and even a new friend. They will let your child be your child and not try to make them someone they are not.  And they will be straightforward with you.  We loved our experience working with Aly and Admission Village.  It made things so much less stressful and even fun.  We had a place to ask our questions and calm our nerves.  And we were so grateful and thankful for all the excellent advice we received."

“I was not convinced in the beginning of my daughter's college journey that we needed help since we had just gone through the process with our eldest daughter. Price was also a concern since we had paid much more money for our eldest daughter's IEC and we did not think her services were worth it. Aly was very generous with her time on our initial phone call and explained her services to me and how she felt she could help us. Then, during my daughter's college hunting and essay writing stages, Aly was very responsive and provided a lot of detail about her thoughts, experience with other students, and essay comments. I like how she "pushed" my daughter and kept asking her "Why?" It made my daughter dig deeply. My daughter always felt comfortable talking to Aly and aligned with her comments. We liked that Aly took the time and the care to get to know my daughter and her goals well enough to be able to suggest in which colleges she would and would not be a fit. I also liked how Aly kept me in the loop while working with my daughter directly. I would recommend Aly to anyone who is going through the college process, without hesitation, for all of the above reasons.”

—Elizabeth F, Class of 2025 Parent

“Aly and Kavita were great with working with our 17-year-old teenage boy. They genuinely cared about my kid's future and went beyond and above to find the best college fit for him.  When I sometimes overheard my boy's tone of voice talking with Aly and Kavita, his voice was kind.  I could tell that he liked to work with them. Knowing that he does not open up to adults easily, this is truly amazing.  Aly was the first person with whom my son shared his college decisions - even before his own parents. They are beyond a college consulting firm. They are more like my kid's favorite aunts. We were looking for somebody who could help us to build a healthy mindset and perspectives on college education. As first year generation immigrants, we had a very narrow view of good colleges. But, they listened carefully and understood my kid, and provided us with very realistic and accurate advice when it came to building the college list.   They found so many great colleges for us, and developed a great strategy for the college list. Our kid ended up with a solid list of great colleges where he would thrive and enjoy. We would definitely recommend Aly and Kavita to the families who have a healthy philosophy about their kids' education. I wish we had started working with them earlier.”

-Joylyn L, Class of 2027 Parent

I had the pleasure of working with Admissions Village for both of my sons.  The time, attention, and support for each of them as well as for myself was invaluable.  I am by nature a very anxious person, and I felt that AV not only helped the boys, but also helped me!  I like to joke that often one's job is to manage expectations, and AV did a wonderful job of managing all of our expectations regarding the college application process.   The effort that was made not only in regards to finding the right social and academic fit, but the right financial fit as well.  I was impressed with some of the more candid conversations I had with Aly regarding what we, as a family, were prepared, as well as able, to pay.

I appreciated the time, energy, and effort given to finding the consultant who was the right fit for each of my sons.  The boys have vastly different personalities, and what worked for my first, did not necessarily work for my second.  I felt so confident and comfortable knowing that AV treated each of my sons individually and absolutely made the effort to make sure they each worked with someone who could bring out the best in them.  It was never a cookie cutter process.

- Alison L., Class of 2028 and Class of 2026 Parent

I would absolutely recommend your services. Aly took what seemed overwhelming and made it make sense and feel achievable. The onboarding was very thorough and thoughtful. Aly took time to get to know our son and what he wanted in a school. She had a solid understanding of his personality, interests & specific needs. My son and I both loved that there was a focus on both academic programs and cultural fit. Aly was realistic and specific in her expectations and timelines. She always spokedirectly to our son, treating him as a young adult, never speaking down to him or treating him as a child. They connected on an adult level which was important to my son and allowed him to better engage in the process. What I found most valuable was how the entire process was personalized to my son’s needs. From the college search to the personal statement to the application strategy, it was thoughtfully laid out keeping my son’s specific goals and personality in mind. In the end, my son was accepted to his college of choice, and I was able to keep my sanity.

- Robin W, Class of 2026 Parent

“What we loved best about working with you was your responsiveness and your ability to engage with our son in a productive way. You got him to an early decision acceptance with very little acrimony or stress other than the stress of waiting. You had his confidence, you had ours and our relationship with him flourished at a stressful time. I am amazed that you got him to all of his deadlines with little to no stress. I would highly recommend your entire team to any parent/child looking for expert, caring advice on navigating the college admissions process. I especially recommend you to students who resist advice. My kid was a kid who resisted advice. He welcomed yours. You are thorough, kind, cool enough to have credibility with a high school senior, and you really know your stuff. You are firm enough that kids complete their tasks for you, but you are also empathetic to all the pressures of a high school senior year and all the emotions that go along with it. I am grateful for the work that you did with our son!”

-Cheryl B, Class of 2027 Parent

We are so grateful for all of the time and care you have put into helping our daughter.

- Mark S, of Class of 2026 Parent

“We liked your customized support, your knowledge, and your sense of humor! You make the process so much easier! You get to know the kids really well, listen to their concerns and the parents and try your hardest. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! Aly, we couldn't be happier with the guidance that you and Kavita provided throughout this process.  It's apparent that you have a positive impact on the lives of many students, and we are very glad to have been introduced to you and your team!  Thank you!!!”

-Aidan M, Class of 2027 and Susanne M, Class of 2027 Parent

I wasn’t sure we needed help. I work in higher-ed and I had done a lot of research already. But after working with Aly, we realized how much help we needed – especially with coming up with topics for the college essays. Aly was so beneficial in helping  our daughter articulate what she brings to a college campus and helping us explain what makes our family unique.

 - Ann A, Class of 2028 Parent

What a journey this has been! We couldn't have done it without you. You have been such an amazing source of college information and emotional support! We are all so excited for our daughter’s next chapter at BU! What an amazing school - we have such a great feeling already. Each interaction has been extremely positive. The College of General Studies program seems perfect for her. We have you to thank for leading us to it! Thank you for everything!

- Robin L, Class of 2026 Parent

Thank you so much for all of your help!! It definitely made the application process much more clear and less stressful for me. Your guidance kept me on track and is a huge reason I got into the schools that I did.

- Jade C, Class of 2026

Meg and Aly brought their deep understanding and insights to the complex and sometimes emotional college process.  Through working with Meg on her essays, Grace not only improved as a writer, but gained invaluable personal insights and grew in self confidence.

- Maria P, Class of 2028 Parent

“The depth of knowledge.  Friendliness of your team.  Your ability to work well with students during their most difficult years in high school.  Being positive but also being firm when needed. Setting up a realistic schedule to write college essays and applications. I would definitely recommend Admissions Village for students applying to UK schools and US colleges. The strategies you shared in getting accepted to my daughter's dream school early were invaluable and made her Senior year memorable (in a good way)!  I was impressed by the care and attention given by Aly and her team. She was always available to answer questions or concerns.  She also has vast connections in the education field and helped us put together a team to help my daughter through her junior year.  We would like to thank everyone at Admissions Village for guiding us through this journey.  We could not have done it without you all!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”

-Eri K and Maya K, Class of 2027 Parent and Student

“Amazing group. Excellent webinars and emails keeping us up to date on college process and additional helpful resources. Personal knowledge (visits) of the schools my daughter applied to provided us insight into the pro and cons of the school.  Also, support for all requirements including essays, apps and recommendation letters.  In addition, the suggestion of schools for academic and equestrian program was key for us! There is no way we would have made it thru the process without Admissions Village!!

 - Renee T., Class of 2028 Parent

You guys were really great and I think just having someone knowledgeable and able to really explain things was the best. You know your stuff. Your analysis of the colleges was spot on and your advice for applications apparently worked

- Philip R, Class of 2026
